integration of a is velocity
v=t^2+5t+u
as u=initial velocity=0
at time t=2
v=(2)^2+5(2)=14m/s

Answer:

velocity = 14

Explanation:

a particle initially at rest moves along x axis. it is subjected to an acceleration equation: a = 2t + 5. what is its velocity after 2 second ?

Acceleartion = Change of rate of velocity

=> a = dv/dt

=> integration of a over t  = v  (velocity)

a = 2t + 5

=> v = t² + 5t + c

at t = 0 v = 0

=> 0 = 0² + 5(0) + c

=> 0 = 0 + 0 + c

=> c = 0

=> v = t² + 5t

at t = 2

v = 2² + 5(2)

=> v = 4 + 10

=> v = 14

velocity = 14 after 2 secs
