A particle is moving a long a circular path of radius R, then what will be the displacement and distance travelled by the particle after it completes quarter revolution?

 <marquee direction=up behaviour=alternate height=100> Displacement is the shortest distance travelled from the initial point to the final point . After half revolution the displacement is the length of the diameter which is equal to 2r . Hence the displacement is 2r .
