A particle is moving along a circle of diameter 10 metres. what is its displacement when it completes 2 1/2 revolution?​

Given :

  • Diameter of circle = 10 m
  • Revolution of particle = 2 ½ = 5/2

To Find :

  • Displacement of particle

Solution :

Radius = D/2 = 10/2 = 5m

Circumference of circle = 2πr

➨ 2 * 22/7 * 5

➨ 220/7

➨ 31.42 m

It rotates 5/2 around the circle so multiple 31.42 by 5/2

➨ 33.42 * 5/2

➨ 157.1 / 2

➨ 78.55 m
