A particle is moving along a circular path in
Xy-plane. When it crosses X-axis, it has an
acceleration along the path of 1.5 m/s2, and is
moving with a speed of 10m/s in negative
y - direction. The total acceleration is

Answer:

hii!

here is ur answer

tangential acceleration = 1.5(given)

centripetal acceleration =v×v/r

here v is velocity and r is radius

by substituting v=10 and r=2

we get centripetal acceleration

= 10×10/2

= 50

the object is moving towards negetive y axis ( given) and there fore it is moving towards negetive x axis ( refer diagram)

so the answer is

= -50i -1.5j m/s

hope you understand
