A particle is moving along a circular path with radius 2 metre with uniform speed 5 metre per second inverse what will be the change in velocity when the particle completes half of the evolution​

we know that,

change in velocity means acceleration.

so,a particle will complete half revolution of circular path in average aceeleration

Initial velocity will be -5m/s when it moves upward against the gravity and final velocity is 5m/s .

time to complete one revolution,

time = 2πr /uniform speed

t = 2π ×5 /5

t = 2π

so, time to complete half revolution will be π.

so,average acceleration = ∆v/∆t

a = [v(f) - v(i)]/t

a = 5-(-5)/π

a = 10/π m/s^2

Hence, the change in velocity i.e, acceleration is 10/π m/s ^2 when the particle completes half revolution.
