A particle is moving along a straight line such that its acceleration a (in m/s²) is given by a=2ks, where k is a positive constant and s is its position. If initial velocity of particle at s=0 is 4m/s, then its velocity at s=2 m is?

Answer:

as we can see, according to the question

u (initial velocity)= 4m/s

v (final velocity) = ?

t (time) = ?

s (distance) = 2m

a = 2m/s

By applying eq. of motion

S = ut + 1/2 at^2

2= 4×t + 1/2 × 2 × t^2

t=2

now applying another equation

V = U + at

v = 4 + 2×2

v = 8 m/s

have a great day ahead :)
