A particle is moving in a circle of diameter 5 m calculate the distance covered and the displacement when it completes 3 revolutions and why the displacement is 0​

Answer:

Given:

Diameter = 5 cm

Radius = 2.5 cm

Distance in 1 revolution = 2 π r = 2 × 3.14 × 2.5 = 15.7 m

Distance in 3 revolutions = 3 × 15.7 = 47.1

As the body comes back to the same position the displacement is 0.
