A particle is moving in a circle of diameter 5 m. Calculate the distance covered and the displacement when it completes 3 revolutions.​

r = d/2

= 5/2m

circumference = 2πr

= 2×22/7×5/2

= 110/7m

distance = 110/7×3 = 330/7m

displacement = 0m (as the particle stops where it

started)
