A particle is moving in a circle of diameter 5m. calculate the distance covered and the displacement when it completes 3 revolution. (Ans : 15 pie metre; zero)Please help me with clear and correct explanation​

Explanation: radius = 5 /2 = 2.5

in one revolution particle covers distance =2πr

So, distance covered by particle in 3 revolution = 3*2πr

= 6πr

= 6π*2.5 = 15π

After each revolution particle comes to the point from which it started ,that is why it's displacement is 0.
