A particle is moving in a circle of diameter 5m. calculate the distance covered and displacement when it covers three revolution.

Given: radii = 5m
Distance = 3 times The Circumference
Distance = 3(2πr)
Distance = 3(2*3.14*5) m [let π be taken 3.14]
Distance = 3(31.4)m
∴Distance = 94.2m
Displacement = the distance moved from the initial position.
But the particle revolves in an axis and thus when it completes 3 revolutions, it returns to the initial position i.e. where it started.
Hence, there is no displacement
∴ Displacement = 0
