A particle is moving in a straight line with uniform acceleration is observed to be at a distance 'a' from a fixed point initially. It is at distances b, c, and d from the same points after n, 2n, 3n sec. the acceleration of the particle is?

Answer:

Acceleration = change in velocity with respect to time

Velocity = change in position with respect to time

So v1 = (b-a)/n

v2 = (c-b)/2n

Hence acceleration is :

a = (v2 - v1)/(2n - n)

= (c + 2a - 3b)/2n^2
