 \bold{Given : }

A particle is moving in circle of diameter 5m.

 \bold{To  \: be \: calculated : }

Calculate the distance covered and displacement when it completes three revolution.

 \bold{Formula \:  used  : }

⋆ Circumference of circle = 2πr

 \bold{Solution : }

We have,

Diameter of circle = 5 m

Radius of circle = d/2 = 5/2 = 2.5 m

Now,

Distance covered when it complete one revolution = 2πr

→ 2 × 22/7 × 2.5

→ 44/7 × 25/10

→ 1100/70

→ 15.71

Distance covered when it complete three revolution

= 3 × 15.71

= 47.13 m

Displacement is zero because the straight line distance between the initial and final position is zero.
