\frac{440}{7}

as it covers only half the distance therefore the distance is

\frac{440}{7}÷2\\

\frac{220}{7}

speed = \frac{distance}{time}

speed = \frac{\frac{220}{7} }{5}

speed = \frac{220}{35}

speed = 6.28 m/s
