a particle is moving with the velocity 5m/s towards the east and it's velocity changes to 5m/s north in 10 sec. find the acceleration​

Answer:

initial velocity=5i m/s

final velocity=5j m/s

change in velocity=5j-5i

acceleration=(change in velocity)/time

                     =(5j-5i)/10

                     =0.5j-0.5i

magnitude of acceleration =√(0.5²+0.5²)

                                              =1√2 m/s²
