If it is necessary moving with uniform speed.

If it is it necessary that it is moving along a straight line.

Velocity is the rate of change of displacement, whereas, speed is the rate of change of distance.

Speed does not depend on direction. So, if the speed is constant, the particle can move in any direction, i.e. circular, straight, curved, etc. Therefore, it is not necessary to move with a uniform speed to attain a uniform velocity.

But for uniform velocity, the particle has to move in a straight line. Because if it moves in a curved line, or a circular path, the velocity does not remain constant (for changing displacement) and the acceleration becomes 0.
