A particle is projected so as to have a range R on the horizontal plane through through the point of projection. If a, b are the possible angles of projection, and, t2 the corresponding times of flights, show that: (t1^2 - t2^2)/(t1^2 + t2^2) = sin(a-b)/sin(a+b)
