when the ball reaches the maximum height its velocity becomes zero and time taken by it to reach the top is given that is 6 sec putting thus into te 1st equation we get the value of u as 60 m/s . And then with the help of this we find the value of the height (h1) that the ball covered when it is thrown from the tower which comes out to be 180m . Now to cover back the distance of 180m it would take again 6sec , so to cover the distance of h that is the height of the tower it take 14 sec, now when the particle reaches the top of the tower it would again have a velocity of 60m/s thus putting u=60m/s, t=14sec,g=10m/s^2in 2nd newtons equation we h=1820m
