Answer: Velocity of the particle at t = 2 seconds will be :-

i) 0 m/s ( if g = 10 m/s²)

ii) 0.4 m/s (if g = 9.8 m/s²)

Explanation:

Particle projected with speed = 20 m/s

Time = 2 s

Acceleration due to gravity :- i) 10 m/s² or ii) 9.8 m/s²

From the first equation of motion,

v = u + at

So, for (i) case, v = 20 - 10(2), v = 0 m/s

for ii) case, v = 20 - 9.8(2), v = 0.4 m/s
