A particle is projected with a speed V from a point O making an angle of 30° with the vertical. At the same instant, a second particle is thrown vertically upwards from a point A. The two particles reach H, the higest point on tge parabolic path of particle simulataneously. Then ratio V/v is

Answer:

V/v = 2/√3

Explanation:

Let the speed of 1st particle be V

Height at highest point on parabolic path be H.

By formula:

H = V^2sin^2(60°)/2g

H= 3V^2/8g

Putting this value of H in

v = √2gH

V/v = 2/√3.

Hope it helps!
