u = 200 m/s

θ = 90°-30° = 60°

t = 3 s

Horizontal velocity of the projectile is given as -

ux = u.cosθ

ux = 200 × cos60°

ux = 200 × 0.5

ux = 100 m/s

Distance covered in 3 s will thus be -

s = ux.t

s = 100 × 3

s = 300 m

Hence, distance covered by the particle in 3 s will be 300 m.
