A particle is thrown upward with speed 40m/s. Find its speed 1 second before it reaches the maximum height .

after reaching it's maximum height, it would start free fall and velocity after 1 sec. of max height is given by
v = u + at
v = 0 + 10×1
v = 10 m/s

Sunandit: oh u can find it by finding total time to go up

Sunandit: then subtracting 1 from it

Sunandit: and find velocity at that point by using first equtaion.
