This is a case of GROUND-GROUND PROJECTILE

Displacement in y axis ;

 \therefore \: y =  u_{y}t -  \dfrac{1}{2} g {t}^{2}

 =  >  \: y =  \{ u \sin( \theta)  \}t -  \dfrac{1}{2} g {t}^{2}

For the full journey , the particle starts from ground and ends on the ground , so it's y axis displacement will be zero.

 =  >  \: 0 =  \{ u \sin( \theta)  \}t -  \dfrac{1}{2} g {t}^{2}

 =  >  \:   \{ u \sin( \theta)  \}t  =  \dfrac{1}{2} g {t}^{2}

 =  >  \:   u \sin( \theta)  =  \dfrac{1}{2} g t

 =  >  \: t =  \dfrac{2u \sin( \theta) }{g}
