and t = 3 s. The value of u is (g = 10 m/s.

motion along y axis .

=>v=u +at

0=usin theta -10t

(given :theta=30degree)

=>u/2 = 10t

=>u/20 = t

here this t time to reach max height ..

t can not be 1 or 3 (because positions of time 1 and 3 are h1 and h2 rspt.)

therefore

time =2sec (in the middle of the given times)

u/20 = 2 sec

therefore

u = 40 m
