Horizontal component of the velocity remains same through out the motion.

let final velocity making an angle β with the horizontal = v

then, it's horizontal velocity = vcosβ

so,

 u \cos α = v \cos β

v = \dfrac{u \cos α}{\cos β}

v = u \cos α \sec β
