Now, differentiating with respect to t, we get
velocity (v) = dx/dt = - (t + 5)⁻²
Again, differentiating with respect to t, we get
acceleration (a) = dv/dt = - 2 (t + 5)⁻³
⇨ a = - 2 (t + 5)⁻³
∴ a ∝x³
Therefore, we can conclude that acceleration is proportional to the cube of the distance travelled in time t
