A particle moves 100m with a speed, 2m.s-¹ and then next

200m with a speed, 3m.s-¹. Find its average speed. Steps plz.

Answer:

in the first 100 m , time=d/s=100/2=50 sec

in the next 200m , time=d/s=200/3=66.6 sec

now, avg speed= total distance/ total time= 200+100/50+66.6

=300/116.6=2.5 m/s .. is the ANS
