Explanation:

let us draw the figure for the path trasversed :- see the fig

let displacement= ā

a²=(os')² + (ss')²

os'=NE=4m

and ss'=SE-ES'=>SE-ON=(6-4)m=2m

:.a=√(4²+2²) =√20m
