Answer:

GIVEN :

R=300m

=> DIAMETER = DISPLACEMENT = 2×R = 2×300 =600m

TOTAL TIME = 2 MINUTES = 2× 60 s = 120 s

SO,

AVERAGE VELOCITY = TOTAL DISPLACEMENT/ TOTAL TIME = 600 ÷ 120= 5 m/s

I THINK YOUR QUESTION IS INCORRECT

BECAUSE THE OPTION THAT YOU HAVE GIVEN ARE MATCHING FOR AVERAGE SPEED BUT NOT FOR AVERAGE VELOCITY.

SO PLEASE CHECK THE QUESTION AGAIN CAREFULLY.

IF THEY WOULD HAVE ASKED FOR AVERAGE SPEED THEN THE ANSWER WOULD BE :-

TOTAL DISTANCE= Pi × R = 22/7 × 300

=942.85 m

and

TOTAL TIME = 2×60=120 s

=> AVERAGE SPEED = 942.5÷120 = 7.85 m/s
