Question given is incomplete.

Complete question will be ⇒

A particle moves along the x axis. its position is given by the equation x = 2 + 3t - 4t². What will be the equation of the velocity.

Solution ⇒

x = 2 + 3t - 4t²

Differentiating both the sides w.r.t. time.

 \frac{dx}{dt} = \frac{2 + 3t - 4t^2}{dt}

⇒ v = 0 + 3 - 8t

∴ v = 3 - 8t

Hence, the equation of the velocity will be 3 - 8t.

Hope it helps.
