A particle moves in a circular orbit of radius 5 m.Calculate the distance covered and the displacement if it completes three revolutions.​

Distance=circumference=2×22/7×5

=220/7 m

For 3 revolutions,220/7×3

=660/7 m

Displacement=diameter=2r

=2×5

=10 m

Cirunference of a semi circle = 22/7 ×r

= 22/7× 10

= 220/7 m

Displacement = r +r =d

= 10+10= 20 m
