A particle moves in a circular path of radius one metre with a speed of Pi metre per second. Find the distance travelled and displacement in one second and half second.

Explanation:

Since R = 1 m; the distance covered is pi meters. Since speed is constant (1 m/s); the time taken to cover pi meters would be pi seconds. The displacement would be a DIAMETER of the circle = 2 R = 2 m. The AVERAGE VELOCITY would be displacement/time = 2/pi m/s.
