v = dx/dt= 12t - 3t^2

a= dv/dt = 12 - 6t

Particle will have maximum velocity when a= 0

12 - 6t= 0

t= 12/6= 2

v=12*2 - 3*2^2

= 24 - 12

= 12m/s
