A particle moves in a straight line and its speed
depends on time as v = 12t – 31. Jvdt represents
the distance travelled of the particle then find the
displacement of the particle in 5 s
(1) 65 m
(2) 12.25 m
(3) 2.25 m

Answer:

145 m

Explanation:

distance d (t) = Jvdt = ∫vdt = ∫(12t -31) dt = 6t² - 31t , d(5) = 300 - 155 = 145 m
