Distance=Speed×Time
$= > 4 \times 2 \\ = > 8m$
Then,he travelled 6m/s for 3 s
Distance=
$= > 6 \times 3 \\ = > 18m$
Now,
$average \: speed = \frac{total \: distance}{total \: time \: taken}$
$= > \frac{26}{5}$
$= > 5.2$
Hence,
The average speed=5.2m/s
