A particle moves in a straight line with initial
velocity u. Retardation acting on the particle is kv,
where k is a positive constant and v is
instantaneous velocity. Then
(1) y(t) = u.e^(-kt)
(2) v(t) = u.(1 - e^(-kt))
(3) Displacement of particle at time t is (u/k)e^(-kt)
(4) Displacement of particle when it comes to rest is u/k
