​a particle moves in x-y plane according to the equations x=4t2+5t+16 and where y=5t where x,y are in metre and t is in second.the acceleration of the particle is?

The answer is 8....the acceleration in x direction can be obtained by differentiating x component twice which comes out to be 8...and similarly differentiating the equation for y direction twice will give us the acceleration in y direction...which comes out to be 0....thus net acceleration becomes.   8+0=8m/s^2
