Might need that 'r' for the calculation of displacement.
So the circumference of the circular path is 2×3.14×r = 6.28r units
Speed = distance/time
Speed = 6.28r/40 = 0.257r units/second
For the second case
Speed = distance/time
0.257r = distance/140
2.57r×14 = distance = 35.98r
Therefore, distance covered in 2mins.20sec. = 35.98r
