Particle completes its one revolution in 40 sec so in 40 sec displacement becomes 0 now left 20 sec in total 1min

Now displacement in 20 sec

From ques we come to know that in 40 sec it completes whole circle so in 20 sec it completes half circle. So displacement = 2 × radius

Displacement =10m

Now for calculating distance=velocity × time

Time=60sec

velocity =2 π× radius × frequency

=>2 ×π × 5 × 1/40

=>0.785 m/s

Distance =0.785 × 60

=>47.12 m
