Given that,

Velocity = v

Radius = r

We need to calculate the angular velocity

Using formula of velocity

v=\omega r

\omega=\dfrac{v}{r}

Where, v = velocity

r = radius

\omega = angular velocity

Angular velocity :

The angular velocity is define the speed of rotation.

The angular velocity is directly proportional to the linear velocity and inversely proportional to radius of the particle.

Hence, The angular velocity is \dfrac{v}{r}

The angular velocity acts along the axis of rotation.
