fifth half second = 2s - 2.5s
ti = initial time = 2 s
tf = final time = 2.5 s
vi = initial velocity = ti * a = 2s * 2m/s/s = 4m/s
vf = final velocity = tf * a = 2.5s * 2m/s/s = 5m/s

vf^2 - vi^2 = 2ax
(vf^2 - vi^2)/(2a) = x
(25 - 16)/4 = x
x = 9/4
x = 2.25 m........

I think it is ur answer
