acceleration is towards east
so a= -6m/s²
    u (initial velocity) = 12 m/s
    t = 7 sec
    s (distance) =?
    
    s = ut+1/2at²
    s = 12 x 7 + 1/2 x -6 x 7²
    s = -63m  (towards west)
therefore, particle has travelled 63 m east
