Displacement refers to the shortest distance between two points and it's a vector quantity.If you travel from a point A to point B and lets suppose the path may be in any structure I.e curve,elipse,zig zag line or any other structures the displacement will be the shortest distance between these points A and B..so in the case of your problem the displacement will be zero since at the end of the trip you are at the same point from where you started..

So, displacement =0 metre
