Velocity of the particle(u) = 20m/s
Deceleration of the particle = 2m/s
Time =12 seconds
Distance travelled in 12 seconds(s)
= ut + 1/2at^2
= 20(12) + 1/2(-2)(12)^2
= 240 - 144
= 96 metre
