using second equation of uniformly accelerated motion,

s = ut +  \frac{1}{2} a {t}^{2}  \\ s = 5 \times 4 +  \frac{1}{2}  \times  - 2.5  \times 16 \\ s = 20 +  (- 10.0) \\ s = 20 - 10 \\ s = 10 \: metres.
