Blinking of the eye is governed by the fast movement of the eyelids by the speedy muscles in them.


The eyelids are nothing but folds of skin.


With the movement of the eyelids due to reflexes by the speedy muscles, fluids from the tear ducts are pulled out so that the dust particle comes out of the eye with it.
