Explanation:- Given ,m = 0.3 kg ,

  • x = 20cn
  • and k = 15N/m
  • given F = -kx _____(1)
  • and F = ma _____(2)
  • ∴ ma = -kx From (1) and (2)
  • a = -15/0.3* 20× 10⁻²
  • a = -15/3 × 2 = -10m/s²
  • => Negative sign indicates that acceleration is always towards the mean position .

∴ intial acceleration , a = 10m/s² Answer
