mass of the particle, m = 0.3 kg

applied force, F = - kx;

k = 15 N/m

x = 20 cm = 0.2 m

Let the acceleration of the particle = a
Using the Newton’s 2nd law of motion we get,

F = m* a or, -kx = ma

or, - 15 * 0.2 = 0.3 * a or, a = -3.0/0.3

or, a = -10m/s^2
