→ Time taken = 2s
To find:-
→ Force needed by the body.
Solution:-
By Newton's 2nd law of motion , we know that :-
F = m(v - u)/t
Where :-
• F is the magnitude of force.
• m is mass of the body.
• v is final velocity of the body.
• u is initial velocity of the body.
• t is time taken.
By substituting values in the above equation, we get :-
=> F = 2(8 - 4)/2
=> F = 2(4)/2
=> F = 8/2
=> F = 4 N
Thus, the required amount of force
is 4 N .
