A particle of mass m is projected with velocity v making an angle of 45' with the horizontal. When the particlei lands on the level ground, find the maqnitude of the change in its momentum.

Let’s assume the motion is two dimensional. Velocity would have two components x and y. Similarly, momentum will be having two components Px and Py. If there will be no air resistance then there will be no change in Px momentum. But direction of y component of velocity changes with projectile. So the change in momentum will be twice in direction of y component.
