potential due to particle and spherical shell will be added at distance a/2
= - G M / 0.5 a - G M / 0.5 a = - GM / a
PE due to point mass = - G M / distance
PE Due to sph shell = - GM / distance from center
= - G M / 0.5 a - G M / 0.5 a = - GM / a
PE due to point mass = - G M / distance
PE Due to sph shell = - GM / distance from center
